I have an imprinted Toulouse gosling that is a week old. I am thinking of getting another gosling for company, however I won't be able to attain another one (as a two day old) for 2 more weeks. Will my current gosling pick on the younger one? Is the age difference too great? I do have chickens so she could hang with them as a single goose if necessary. Thanks

Ooh... don't put her with chickens.
I introduced Balbinka to my chickens for the first time the other day, just to see how they would interact.

The chickens were a bit too curious and picked at her for a split second before I removed her.
So, I definitely do not recommend putting a gosling in with chickens (as they are too innocent to defend themselves just yet).

Another gosling would be great, but the same age would definitely be to your benefit!
Have you looked on Craigslist for same age goslings yet?

Good luck

I have checked craigslist to no avail. She wouldn't hang with the chickens until she were much older. She is with us in the house right now.
