I'm a new user because of this event... my dog knocked over my incubator. I'm on day 20, one had hatched with 4 left to go. It fell 3 or so feet from my table and were out of the incubator for maybe 2 minutes. None of them cracked. Are they still viable? I checked on day 18 before putting them in lockdown and all of them were definitely showing signs of life. I'm worried they got bumped around in there. None of them were pipping so that could rule out shrink wrapping. Has anyone experienced something like this? I am now having humidity problems because the water was spilled around right next to the heater so it has become more humid. It's sitting at around 80-90% right now. Temp is around 89, dropped drastically. What should I do? I'm afraid to take them out and candle.

Leave them be, try to lower the humidity a tiny bit. Candle on day 23 or 24 if no signs of life yet. Best of luck!

Thank you! I hope they make it. I'm wondering how to lower humidity without opening it. Mine's manual so I have to use a turkey baster to put water in it.

I was able to get 3 of the 5 chicks to hatch, but one of them cant walk and his head shakes and wabbles. All it can do is lay down :( anyone know what this means? I'm guessing it's injury from impact when the egg fell but didn't crack
