help duck bones

My khaki female duck looks like it's bones are showing at the wings anyone no what could be up with her

Sorry can't at the moment but it looks a little like tooth picks in white on the wings hopefully get picture tomorrow

How old is the duck? It sounds like she's just getting new feathers in. Little white toothpicks sticking out sounds alot like new feather shafts coming in. Could that be it?

Edit: Do a Google search for "pin feathers" and see if that's what you're seeing with your duck. Totally normal if this is the case.

The ducks about 5 weeks and thank you for your help

Yes, when new wing feathers come in, it looks to me like white or pale blue plastic straws and the feathers are inside that sheath.
