Today I went to check on my duck and Lucky is struggling on the ground with her legs straight out behind her.
I thought she must be egg bound, so I put her in a warm bath for a while and let her soak. The massaged her abdomen to feel for the egg. I can't feel the egg and she is still drinking water.
Does anyone have advice or know what else this may be ?

How old? What are you feeding her? Are you providing a calcium supplement? Does her legs feel hot at all? Any other symptoms? Is she eating/drinking?

Sorry for all the questions it'll help us figure out whats wrong with her. Don't give her another bath just yet, keep her in a warm dry place for now.

She's just nearing a year old. She gets fed corn and a laying feed and veggie scraps. She does get extra calcium.

She is eating and drinking and had one poop in the water during her bath.
Her legs and feet are not overly warm and she has curled one foot almost back underneath her body now.

She's up off the ground now.
Her poop was normal looking and her feet have no bumbles.
She hasn't passed anything but a really big poop.
She ate and drank and seems to be perking up, even gave me a little quack a few minutes ago, she is now looking for ways to get into trouble inside and has started to preen her feathers, maybe she was constipated although I didn't know it could happen to ducks.

She’s gorgeous! Not knowing what’s going on with Lucky, that’s great she has made a turn around. They can have an egg pressing on a nerve that makes walking impossible until that egg moves. Any one that has poultry females should have Calcium Gluconate on hand. When an egg is stuck the Cal gluconate can get the muscles moving to push the egg down an out. I rec it for all of us. TSC carries it. Or can be ordered on line

Thank you for all your support.
Shes my baby girl, I hatched her from an egg and raised her by hand, she's one of a kind this little trouble maker.

I've dealt with egg bound girls a lot over the past year. Please get the calcium gluconate and give her 1ml by mouth, (being sure not to get it down the wrong hole). I've done this more times than I can count and if that's the problem I can help you step by step.
