Try to stop the bleeding, clean the wound with saline solution and look further at the wound

Oh geez alright, try to give the bird some electrolytes, the poor thing is probably in shock or will be. Can you get some clearer pictures from different angles?

I had a quail like this once. I put neosporin on it and brought her in the house and gave her a nice cozy pen away from everyone else. She healed up really quickly. I also had a different one like this only he was a male and I just decided to butcher him to save him suffering.
