Help! Evil chickens

Ok so originally I bought five Barred Rock “pullets”... fast forward we had four Roos and one hen. So Roos found a new home and we got 4 four month old Silver Lace Wyandottes from a friend. Now the SLW won’t atop attacking the poor BR! She’s been in a small cage in the coop for four days and even when we let them all out to free range they gang up on her. Help!!!

Some of that is to be expected. Chickens are weird creatures and also can be brutal. They are working out a pecking order. As long as the pecking isn't serious or injuring the the BR it is best to let them work it out. If the SLWs are getting too rough or not stopping after a while then you could try seperating the most aggressive of the 3, because she is the one that will be at the top of the order. Seperating them throws their order out of whack and usually knocks them down a peg or two. Good luck!!
