Help I need advice. This will be my first time incubating duck eggs and chicken eggs . I have a hova incabater it is a manual thinking about buying a egg turner. If you have any experience of how to incabate ducks eggs or chicken eggs please give me advice!!!!!!

I can’t tell you anything about duck eggs. But I can tell you some things about incubating chicken eggs.

First would be to get another thermometer and hygrometer to put inside the incubator. Make sure they’re calibrated. There’s instructions on how to calibrate both online.

Next would be to know your air humidity. The humidity and temperature in the room around your incubator effects the eggs. If the humidity is high where you live consider doing a dry incubation.

Don’t candle till day 10. Mark your air cells along the way and know where they should be at every milestone. I use these pictures as my references for air cells.
