Help for Pickles

Pickles is a 10 month old Rhode Island Red. Yesterday she started looking ill. She stands hunched up (like her neck is pulled into her body--she looks round) and moves slowly. She tries to follow the flock but can't keep up. She laid an egg on Saturday. Her crop and abdomen feel squishy. She also feels thin to me. She has no discharge from her vent. I wasn't home to observe her eating/drinking today but I can't imagine she was doing this. Tonight she is not roosting with the other girls--which is unusual for her. What could this be?

Try some antibiotics.When I cant figure out what is wrong with one I do electrolytes and sprinkle some antibiotics in water. Put it in a syringe and make them drink it. Always helps them, gives them a boost and helps hydrate them.

She's walking around and seems fine this morning....fingers crossed that whatever it was has cleared up.
