Hello. I have a pen of Belgian d'Anvers thst are about 3 to 3 1/2 months old. Last night I was checking them before shutting the barn up, and I was surprised to see one of the cockerals trying to mate a pullet. It was super quick and when he jumped off, she wasn't acting right. I thought she might shake it off, but she couldn't stand or walk. Took all the little cockerals to their own pen, then brought the pullet in the house. Hand fed and watered her. No improvement overnight. She sits with her legs in front of her, and her wings spread out. She can move everything, but her limbs don't work right. Is there anything else I could do? Is it hopeless and I should euthanize?

Not vaccinated for Marek's.

I think it is an injury not an illness because I had looked in the pen before it happened and I didn't see any bird acting ill ... I can't guarantee 100 percent that I didn't miss her, but I think everyone was fine.

I should add that she is happy to eat and drink on her own if we hold her so she can get to the food and water.
