HELP! Found really small egg!

So about one pm today I was getting eggs and freaked out when I saw what I did.

I found this tiny little egg! It’s hard and feels like a normal egg! I put it next to a normal egg and a cap to show how small it is!
I have two chickens and they are both three years old this March.

Pls help! Does anyone know what happened to this egg? I just want to make sure my chickens are ok!

Oh and they seem to be acting like normal! I just haven’t ever seen a egg this small!

It's normal to get a weird egg once in a while. if it is happening everyday, that is a problem. Is this hen fairly new to laying eggs?

sometimes they have mistakes because parts of their bodies aren't in the egg laying rhythm.

No. She’s been laying for like two - three years
