HELP getting a coop!!

I’ve ordered and not received 3 separate coops from three different companies. Everyone is on back order/out of stock. Especially for larger, walk-in coops. I found a local handyman who came out, gave me a quote and agreed to build one and then ghosted me! I’ve just messaged a friend that might be able to help, but my girls are getting too big for the back porch! Help! I have absolutely zero ability to build this myself. lol And I need quite a large one! 20 mixed chickens & bantams.

Start looking for a shed to convert into a coop. You'll need something about 8x10.

That is a great idea. I would just need to add some type of fencing for walking around when they’re not free ranging. Even I might be able to handle that. lol Thank you!!

I ordered 2 got 2 and they were like barbie doll play houses. What state are you in. I went with a local guy not amish but something like that. They built my lean to years ago. So I called him and he is going to make me one. The building is going to be 6' x 10' and the run is going to be the same. Ventilation down both sides of the building. They know what they are doing. So you could look locally to some one like amish that makes buildings. They can make it smaller also. Good luck

I could have written this!! I even paid for one that only partially arrived (and part of what did get here was damaged) and the rest is back-ordered. So now I have parts in my shed and my garage that I can't use and the chicks are still living in their tiny house that they have totally outgrown. So frustrating!!!

It is super frustrating! I’ll let you know if I figure anything out!
