So im gonna hatch quail and my question is can it stay with a chicken. The chicken is a small medium hen and its about 13 weeks so will the quail be alright

I would think that a hen would peck at a quail just like she would a baby chick. You can't just throw smaller birds in with a chicken: she will kill it. Your chicken will kill your quail.

No, do not do it. A chicken will kill young chicks if she isn't broody or hasn't hatched them. Quail are tiny and delicate. A chicken will stomp them.

It is best to keep quail away from chickens, they are very prone to chicken illnesses. You need at least 2 quail or they run themselves ragged looking for a buddy.
