I have a hen that I am so attached to and she follows me everywhere. Unfortunately as I was coming into the house on Sunday I didn't realize she was right behind me and shut her leg in the door. It doesn't appear to be broken but it does have a cut on it. I brought her in and cleaned it up and bandaged it. I have changed the bandage and cleaned it every day since. Today it seems pretty swollen and she kind of hobbled on it or just hops on the one leg. She lays down a lot which I think is because she gets tired from hopping on the one leg. Is there anything more I could be or should be doing?
