We've had the chick for 3 days now. Noticed yesterday a lot of poop stuck to it's butt. We rinsed it off and today seems to be more. We noticed when we were cleaning it's butt there's a hole, seems like it got ripped off.. the baby has some wet poop so i dont want it to get infected. Any advice? Eating/drinking, and acting normal other then picking at it's butt now. Feeding all chicks crumbles and giving them all probiotics/electrolytes!

There is the butt and then there is the belly button where the yolk sack has been absorbed on chicks from 1 to 1 week old. What the chick has is pasty butt where you really just need to check on her if it continues. Dry it off good after you clean her off.

Any antibiotics to put on It? Neosporin? We saw the skin come off so it looks like it could of opened up the belly button? We dont see any other holes on other chicks. They are store bought so guessing 3 weeks old

If you want to you can use a bit of Neosporin. Some stores can sell chicks as young as 2 days old. Good luck!
