Help! I have to give away my duckling.

I've been coming to this site for about a month because I stumbled upon it while looking up information for my duckling and realized that everyone here takes good care of their pets and appreciates how adorable ducklings can be. I work from home so when I was gifted a small duckling I decided to keep her and care for her as a pet.

My circumstaces have changed, and I can no longer care for her and do not want to just abandon her on a lake like so many people have suggested. I want to leave her in good hands with someone that will appreciate her or at the very least take good care of her. She's not fully grown about 10 weeks old and needs a home.

I'm also open to any suggestions besides abandonment.

Please post on your state thread - where local people will see it. They can answer you through the thread or send you a personal conversation. Are there any rescue groups in your area that might take her in?
