HELP I lost my voice .......

Oh course DH thinks its funny ...

I have been battling a nasty cold since ....well superbowl sunday at least and I was starting to feel better - but this stupid cough will not go away - I have been coughing so much I actually killed my voice - for some people this might not be a big deal but when you live in a house with 6 dogs and 4 of them are hard headed boxers - it becomes a problem LOL
you would think that my loving sweet dogs would sense that mommy is not feeling well and behave themselves

oh who am I kidding my dogs have been AWFUL - it has been cold/raining so they are stuck in the house and since they cant do their normal " boxer brawl " in the yard they have been doing it in the house -- barking, jumping, jumping on the couch and acting like fools LOL
well in this house we dont hit our dogs instead I use my voice - the louder than " NO " they know how bad they are in trouble, but all I can manage is a loud whisper - so oh course my dogs are taking advantage of me and are crazy stupid right now !!!

Does anyone want to come to my place and dog sit till I get my voice back??

I would if you where closer. We have over 10 dogs. Have you tried some tea with lemon and honey?

Ricola lozenges work really well too. Try some! It could mean the difference between intact garbage can, and garbage all over the floor!

Microwave a cup of honey with a little lemon juice in it, and drink it.
Do this several times a day.

DH was a drill instructor and would lose his voice from yelling so much every time they picked up new recruits.

I lost my voice when I was five... My mother told me to retrace my steps to find it! I tried but it didn't work.

Mom always tells the story during the holidays so that everyone can laugh at me!
