Help I need to know how to wire the STD-1000 Thermostat

Could someone show me how you wire this thermostat in and what other parts are needed to make it work. Please use layman language or explain the definitions of any electrical jargon.

Can you post a photo (or a link to) of your thermostat, so we can see what kind it is?... Googling "STD-1000 thermostat" doesn't seems to help much...

Ah Lesdexia! You learn to love it. It provides so many comic moments in Life.

Thank you, I shorted it out in the attempt to wire it though. You really have to pay attention not to strip too much insulation off the wire. I took about 1/16 too much and a spark jumped and shorted it. My BIL can fix electronics so he will try to replace the piece unless it fried the mother board. He and I are now contemplating a partnership in building incubators. He said that the down fall of this thermostat is that it didn't have a fuse that would take the damage. He can build them with a fuse. Our idea is that he handles the electronics and I handle the box designs.
