I brought home my new five month old Blue Copper Splash Marans this evening. As I was holding him and bonding this evening, I think I saw a bloody spot on the very bottom of his foot, where the thick soft pad is. I will have to wait until my husband gets home to help me inspect it and take pictures in the morning. I'm so very worried that I'm going to have to preform surgery on his poor foot. I don't think I can do it as I have a very weak stomach when it comes to puss and the like. Is there a local Alabama board that I might find someone close that has done this surgery? If indeed that's what's going on. I really hope that I'm over reacting and it's just a small scratch or something. I will take and post pictures after we inspect him good in the morning.
