Definitely a unique looking bird. I do think its a male.

What was the mix of breeds if you happen to know?

I think the new pic you posted is a pullet so far.

I honestly do not know the exact mix. I got the eggs from a local farm. They gave me a mix of Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, they specialize in "rainbow layers" Black Copper Maran, Rhode Island Red, Wyandotte were some of the names. Here is a pic of the eggs I received, if that helps.
