Calling all chicken lovers! I need some help identifying my chickens after many failed attempts to do so myself. Haha. I started a backyard chicken flock earlier this year and have absolutely loved it! However, breed identifying and sexing can be a little tricky for those of us just starting out.
First I have my new hen that was just brought to us last night, Minnie. I know she’s definitely a hen but the people who brought her to us forgot her breed and age. Any ideas?
Next is my sweet he/she Enzo. I’m thinking it’s some sort of Brahma judging by size and the fluffy feet. For the life of me I cannot decide if it’s a hen or rooster. I’m leaning towards rooster but it’s never crowed, and doesn’t have big wattles. I’m including a baby picture in hopes of better identifying the breed. He/she is currently 22 weeks old.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to look!
