They are not bantams. The lighter tan, solid is a bantam.Bantams ? If so I would guess OEG bantams - perhaps black breasted reds.
Good to hear! I like both breeds. Thank you.They could either be Welsummers or Brown Leghorns.You won't be able to tell the difference until they're a little older. White earlobes, large combs, slender builds, and white eggs are features all consistent with Leghorns.....while red earlobes, smaller comb, heavier body type, and varying shades of brown indicate Welsummer.
I've mostly ruled out Speckled Sussex, as these are generally a rich, mahogany red.
