Help im not sure whats wrong with my hen

She started limping today and I checked the bottom of her foot and found a nasty injury. What is it? Please help me.

It looks like bumblefoot, which is a fairly common problem with chickens.

I cannot see the dark toe, but she has bumblefoot on the foot pad. Soak in Epsom salts for 20 minutes a day to loosen the gunk. It looks hollow as if the scab has come off. What do I do with the pus? I took out the black stuff but it wasn't much. There is some pus in there but I wrapped her foot with antibiotics. Am I supposed to take it out?
