Help! In need of a hatchery in SC!

I am moving to Mt. Pleasant, SC in a couple of days and I was going to get some babies for next spring. However, mypetchicken (according to my zip code) will only send an 8 mix order at minimum and that's too much. I really only wanted 3-4. I had a hard time finding local hatcheries/farms online. Any help???

Have you looked up any other hatcheries to see if they will ship to you? I can't speak for any other hatcheries, but the service of McMurray Hatchery is awesome. I'll recommend them to any one.

15, but if you wait until next year it's 25 before April. I waited and bought mine. They came in June. When you buy 15 you can opt and get a free straight run "rare" of their choice. Mine was an EE hen.

I would check out the local feed stores. Many carry chicks in the spring!

We got some chicks this spring, they were advertised as white leghorns and red pullets and ended up with 4 amberlinks, 1 red sex link and 1 golden sex link. we like them very much, just not the hassle of figuring out what the are and not getting what we wanted.
