HELP!!! Incubating eggs with different hatch dates?

Ok so I'm going to start incubating some bantam eggs on Wed. But also have a shipment of eggs coming in 2 weeks later, and I only have one incubator. I know the humidity has to be higher when the first set is hatching but wont that kill the second set? I was thinking of keeping the humidity at 40=50% until the first set is 18 days old and then increasing to 65-70%.... Do you think the second set will be ok at that humidity for that 3-4 days until the first set hatches and leaves the bator, and should I then back it back down to 40-50% again until that second set is 18 days along? Hopelessly Confused!

You should have a second incubator. The bacteria from the first ones hatching could kill the second hatch. You can make your own incubator-just use the search feature there's plenty of threads on them. Or if you have an electric skillet use the link in my signature to find out how to use it.

i have multiple hatch dates in my bator...im sure u will hear that its bad, im sure it is, but i do it all the time and my chicks still hatch

I was facing the same dilemma. I decided to build my own incubator. It was relatively inexpensive and very fun.
Id suggest that you do the same.
