Well ive had my new incubator on its test for over 24hours running and set as if it has eggs in.
All was fine yesterday and now its going from 38 to 36.9 in a matter of seconds. Its taking ages to climb again to 37.6.

Now bigger problem is humidity, was at a steady 55% most of yestetday. Now its at between 42-49.

Any help would be greatful as I was going to add eggs today!!

Oh its a senvan? The 48 egg unit with a yellow lid. Like the janol without windowds.

Got humidity sorted to 55. But temp readings still fluctuating. Also checking it with a digital thermometer which sometimes gives same reading as bator but onthe most part it gives temp as lower?

Is it forced air or not?
If it is, the fan may not be working correctly.
If the fan isn't working correctly, the temp will spike cause the therm will keep the coil on over heating. Then it will drop further than it should.

Is it in a drafty room or have a ceiling fan or table fan blowing on it?
And is the humidity from your weather bouncing up and down a lot along with temp swings?
Without knowing your environmental factors it is very hard to determine if it is a Bator problem or something else.
Oh and make sure the fan in it is blowing the correct direction.
