HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! INJURED GUINEA KEET!!!! WHAT DO I DO? with pics

Help my guinea keet was pecked a lot on the head by another hen i have. He is fluffing up his feathers, and shaking. and he has no friends because a dog killed the rest of the keets. and he has no mother.

I think the best you can do is apply Neosporin, and just watch it.
There is nobody thay will play nice with him?

I would use the neosporin without pain relief in it and some poly-vi-sol without iron. Keep him warm even if you have to add heat for now. Keep him away from the others. Give him a feather duster or fluffy stuffed animal to cozy up with.

Keep him inside, on comfortable bedding and keep him warm, he needs warmth of about 85 degrees to use if he wants/needs it, especially while he's recovering from being pecked so badly. I would add poultry electrolytes or save-a-chick to his water and mix in a little hard boiled egg yolk with his starter feed for a protein/energy boost to help better his chances of surviving. He's better off being brooder raised from this point on, if he makes it, but he may develop brain swelling from the peck wounds.

As I mentioned before other Guineas Hens usually do not accept keets that they have not hatched, and will kill them. Sometimes that can apply to chicken Hens also, depending on the temperament of the Hens.

Glad he's improving, hope he makes a full recovery! He'd probably like a mirror for company... or a mirror and one of your Hen's chicks would be my choice (if the chick is mellow, not freaking out), the chick might help stimulate him to eat and drink a little more. The neosporin melroseladi suggested will help his peck wounds heal better.

Poor keet!

If you can't get him a buddy, and you have time, peck at his feed with your finger several times a day. Every hour would be great if possible. You can also give him a little mash (slightly soaked crumble using warm water) once or twice a day to see if he eats more, and a pinch of yogurt once a day wouldn't hurt.
