HELP! is it dead?

hello...........i was just wondering if my duck egg is still alive because when i candle it there is a black patch and looks like no movement! is it dead? it doesnt smell and it is still warm and i tryed putting it in warm water quick and seeing if it sank or not. it sank so its a fresh eggs so i dont know if it is alive or not! HELP thxs

. I've never used a incubator before so I don't have any advice. Did it wiggle at all during the float test?

How long have you been incubating the egg?
