She is normally very active, runs around with the other girls & today she has become very lethargic, puffy with tail down & hunched over. She is still scratching & pecking around their run but she’s acting very odd. No signs of injury.

Have you checked for lice, mites, and inspected her to see if she has any injuries? Is her abdomen (area below her vent) hard, squishy, or like a balloon?
Checked for injuries & mites/lice but there weren’t any. Her abdomen felt soft nothing swollen or abnormal feeling. She didn’t want to leave the coop this morning & was brought inside. Tried to give her water with a syringe which she drank a little bit of. I wasn’t there for it but was told she ended up seizing about 2 hrs later & passed. She was fine & then wasn’t out of no where yesterday.

Photos of her poop?

Check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight - it should be flat/empty first thing in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink.
Her crop seemed fine. I didn’t have a chance to get a pic of her poop but nothing looked out of the ordinary. It was more runny than usual yesterday with one of them being a runny green with some solid poop in it. I wasn’t there when it happened but was just informed she ended up having a seizure & then passed away about 2 hrs ago.

I'm so sorry you lost your hen! If you want to send her body off for an autopsy, you can put her in the fridge, then send her over ice (don't freeze her body) in the mail. You can search this site for the link to find your closest state veterinary lab and they'll have mailing instructions.

If you feel up to it, you can do a home autopsy and take lots of pics and if there's something obvious members can point it out. But we can only tell you what we see, not test for anything.

Sounds like you did everything you could. So sorry you lost your hen!
