Help!! Is this a tumor?

I have a 3 week old chick that I rescued from other chicks pecking on its head and making her bleed. I put her in our chick hospital- gave her electrolytes and treated the wounds with vetericyn. But I noticed this “round ball of debris” on the side of her neck ( not near the crop area) Once she started to feel better ( 2 days) I decided to trim it off the feathers- it bled terribly. I put hydrogen peroxide on it. This morning it seems it has healed but now it looks like an elongated tumor attached to the neck. It is semi- soft as far as I can tell. Is this a tumor? Part of a feather follicle- but it seems rather big for that. How should I treat it? Chick is a bit lethargic. Been drinking and eating but not a whole lot. Seems sleepy. Should I just leave it alone and hopefully the feathers will hide it when I return her to her chick siblings?

It might be an ingrown feather cyst, but once things heal more I would take another picture of it. 3 weeks seems young for a tumor. Are all of the birds who were picking of on the chick the same age? It seems a little young for that much pecking. Do they have a large enough brooder area? Is it too bright?

For wound care, I would spray saline or a wound spray on it twice a day, then apply plain antibiotic ointment on it until it starts healing well.

What is the neck and what is the tumor?
It is a small round ball on the side of the neck.

It is a mystery as to how she/he got pecked on. They are in an adult coup (just them). Plenty of room and plenty of dark spaces. It may have been a rooster who got in when I was trying to feed them. He was in there maybe 10 min. The mother hen could be a suspect. She does take them out for short excursions. I’ve got some antibiotic ointment I can put on her. Hopefully it will improve. She’s still a bit lethargic but eating and drinking. Thank you for your advice I had never dealt with anything like this in my 5 years of having chickens!
