Just went to the brooder and heard/saw a 3 week old chick doing this.

I have a longer video, but this is the gist of it.

Oh, yes! She's just fine! She's having herself a little dust bath that's all.
Give them a pan with some dry dirt in it and they'll be in their glory. Make it big enough so they can all pile in. They like to bathe piled against each other.

Totally normal

give her a sand box with dry sand. they dust themselves to keep themselves clean. Keep bugs off etc
