Olay yesterday I was supposed to LOCKDOWN my 22 fertile guinea eggs and I couldn't get my humidity up to 80 to save my life so I moved them to another incubator that I had Goose Eggs in and move the goose eggs it's better but only around 70 - 75 % at the top of its game but now I'm freaking out because everyone says "Don't OPEN the incubator but I have had no choice and now all those question and doubts and This was so much fun but what if they don't hatch? And my family has already ridiculed me for even wanting to try this so maybe I'm a bit sensitive and scared I did the research I asked you all my questions I followed what I thought was the advice for the most optimal conditions but this first hatch may kill me with the stress lol

Just take a deep breath and relax. There is nothing you can do now but wait. You did the best you could. We are all here for you. If they don't hatch just chalk this up to experience. You've already done more than most people to get this far. You should be proud of yourself no matter the outcome.

I hatch guinea eggs regularly at 66% humidity. Under my local conditions it is not possible to push the hatcher humidity to 80% humidity and for me it has not been necessary.

Good luck.

One of the things that I read and practice is to place all the eggs so they are touching when I put them in lockdown. The theory is that it helps the keets, chicks, poults, etc. communicate with each other and supposedly causes the eggs to hatch more closely together.

I currently have keets hatching with the humidity between 66% and 70%. They are looking fine.

Good luck.

Well 4 hatched out of the 22 eggs that had movement before hatching and two of those 4 have since passed away they were weak at hatch so I has been a crazy week I have gotten more eggs and will try again did more research and talked to some people who regularly hatch guinea Fowl. So fingers crossed
