Help! i've ended up with 2 roosters

That is such good advice Lady! I wish I had asked sooner. When he was challenging mom, I was concerned for her. My original Australorp rooster was quite aggressive and wouldn't even let Shirley out of the coop, plus he nearly killed Ethel. So, as you say, he went to freezer camp, and I thought I never wanted another until Shirley got broody. But, when Butthead, the brat kid, attacked Shirley I was not going to let her be intimidated again. LOL Yes, his name doesn't really fit anymore, but that's what he answers to. He is with Queen Bee and Queen Victoria. (Bee, Vic and Butthead) I think I shall allow them to just live separate for now. If I get another broody hen things could get dicey, but I do have another coop, so there's that. Thanks so much for your advice.

BTW, Pretty Boy is not pulling out Butthead's feathers. They have never been in the same chicken run together. I think that part was someone else's rooster problem. That being said, Pretty Boy has claim on all his ladies and would not likely share them with anyone. In fact, he is right there if I have to pick one up. LOL

First of all, if you’re gonna raise the animals then u should care for them all the same, it doesn’t matter who’s prettier…secondly mrs.k and her followers are leading u down a dark path with ur animals…ik your post is really old but there’s still ppl like me who came here for advice then read all them crap replies (the advice I needed was no where near related to this, google sucks) but anyways, I’ve raised chickens and ducks for a while now…it doesn’t matter how long u have the animals, they had a life before u I assume since u bought them grown, so they’re used to it..they probably just don’t like he’s aggressive, and he’s gonna be especially if he hasn’t or doesn’t get the opportunity to mate often..the one that’s being submissive is either younger or was part of a flock that had roosters in it that wouldn’t allow him to mate, kinda like one of my roosters and I’ve also seen the girls attack one of my roosters, bcuz the girls are older and are establishing ✨pecking order✨ U don’t have to be a boy and boy or a girl and girl, they’ll all do it to eachother, it’s their way. So don’t listen to mrs k or anyone else reading this don’t listen to her, time fixes everything. Even a pecking order. So as everyone gets used to roosters being there, it’ll all solve itself and they’ll all be fine. I’m currently welcoming two new roosters into my flock and my girls chase them away..it’s justtt pecking order. (Ps the human dna and chicken dna is soo different and humans are more complex so idk why the one person tried to bring human bullying into it like it’s the same thing)
