I know I have posted before about this but her stomach is touching the ground. When I touched it last week it was soft, but I was all scratched up. Her personality hasn’t changed, no changes in anything else. I know ducks sickness are hard to detect but as a nurse it’s hard not to be concerned but have no one to turn to about ducks 🦆 sorry it was hard to get pictures because my other female wouldn’t get out the way because she’s loves attention!

They get freeze dryer worms about 7oz and they only eat about half of their food they mostly dig around in the dirt.

I was just thinking since most Pekins are little piggies maybe she is just chubby. If she is acting normal in all ways I wouldn't worry but I would be careful not to over do on treats. Pekins were bred to grow super fast and put on weight to be slaughtered at around 10-12 weeks old (makes me cringe to think about it) But that may be why Betty is on the chubby side.
