My girl, Beaky (an americauna with a twisted beak and as a result has always required her scratch treats in her own cup) is one of 12 girls. We have a large coop but this long cold winter has been making the girls grumpy and there has been some pecking going on. Beaky has gone down in the pecking order recently, maybe because she has been getting weaker? But 2 days ago, she was clearly not acting herself - usually comes running for her treat; withdrawn, squirted out a white liquidy poop and showed clear signs of being pecked not just on the back but possibly on her neck...so I pulled her from the group, cooked up some rice to mix in her food, treated her with Blue Kote and put her in a brooding box in the basement, as after reading BYC I thought she may just be very stressed from being harrassed. Burt since then she seems even weaker, not eating much, a little dark poop in the box but still diarrhea. Yesterday I took her outside to see how she would interact with the group (it was finally a mild day and I let the girls range a bit as the snow was melting) but she just stood around with her eyes closed. Poor thing is not feeling well. This morning, she is just laying in her box totally disinterested. I'm very worried that I'm going to lose her. Any ideas?
