I dont know what is going on. Ive never raised turkeys before. My nephew gifted me 2 turkeys that were 2-3 days old. The first one died within a week about three days ago. Now today this remaining chick is super lethargic, wont open eyes. I have helped it drink some apple vinegar and cayenne water. I put a blanket around the brooder to make it extra warm because it seemed cold to the touch.

any suggestions on what to do, if anything?

Vet isn't an option where i live. The turkey poult died shortly after I posted. Idk what went wrong. My nephew says ghe two he bought with them are doing just fine.

Seems like it got chilled. It happens quite a lot with babies, especially if they are small or slow-feathering. Sometimes they won't be able to get enough heat and just start dying off. I noticed when my chicks, poults or ducklings are cold, they will be really loud and scream. When one is close to dying and it's too late, they will feel very cold and open+close their mouth slowly with quiet noises. They'll eventually die and every time I had attempted to save one by putting it in the incubator it was already too late and its organs were shutting down, so I'd wake up with a dead baby. You might not think they're cold at times, but they can be. After all these mistakes made, I came up with the perfect setup. So now, I have a pool for my brooder. I keep a big heat lamp with a 250watt red bulb about a foot above the brooder, close to an edge. So if they get too hot they can go elsewhere and not have to be stuck in the heat.
