HELP! Lice or mites? Treatment?

You may be able to get away with dipping the chickens, patting them dry and then letting them air dry on a windless but sunny day as long as it's above freezing.

I brought my hen to my basement and washed her in the utility sink. I sprayed the area with alcohol after- left for awhile and came back to see there were mites on the air dryer. I resprayed everything with alcohol…. I feel I made a mistake by washing and drying her.

Should I be worried about them surviving in my house?
