Help! Lost feathers on chest...

I just noticed this morning that one of my Rhode Island Reds seems to have feathers missing from her chest - the downy feathers are still there, but not the top layer. Does anyone know what's going on with this? Thanks so much for your help!!

has she been treated recently for lice/mites? Are your birds picking at eachother? She could be broody.....we need more details
