I lost my female pilgrim goose today. Found her killed.

My male goose is now alone, they were mates.

I hate seeing him alone. What are my options for getting him a companion?

Yes I would definitly get him another goose friend, a female will be the easiest to adjust too but ganders can be paired with other ganders and form very strong bonds.
It’s easiest to introduce a male gosling “4+ weeks old is safest” to him, but any age will work, adult ganders can squabble at first to determine dominance but after a few days to a week they’ll adjust and start bonding.

May I rec you work on your predator problem too? Getting another goose is a great idea but if whatever got your goose still has access to your flock then most likely it will be back for another free meal. again and again.
