HELP!!! Mcmurray free exotic chick!!!

I just got my order of baby chicks in a couple weeks ago for Murray Mcmurray. I decided to take a chance and go ahead and get the free chick they offer, even though I really do not want a rooster. So I got this little guy and I'm trying to figure out what "it" is as far as breed and sex. Does anyone have an idea? I'm new to raising chickens.

Does it have to be exotic? Because that looks like a Barred Rock to me. Funny, I got the same thing -- a free chick with my Murray McMurray order, and he turned out to be an Egyptian Fayoumi rooster with a crossed beak. Look up the breed, they're funny looking. Again, my thought is Barred Rock, although I'm not an expert, so I guess you can't go with my word 100%, . Hope it's a hen!
