Help Me I.D. These Chicks! *lots of pics*

Hi Friends!

I'm new here and got six 'backyard mix' chicks yesterday. The owner says she doesn't know what they are because she doesn't know who the parents are. I think some of them look like certain breeds I've Googled, but I am lost. I really have no idea what kinds of chickens I have.

Please help me figure out what breeds these chicks are
AND
If anyone knows whether they're Pullets or Roos, that would be helpful as well. They are between one and two weeks old.

Wow! I can’t help you with breeds, they are definitely too young to sex right now. Ask again when they’re 4-5 weeks. But i’m sure they will be gorgeous!! That black one with the brown feathers in so striking!!

The people I bought them from were going to keep 'her' because her wings are so stunning. I can't wait to see what 'she' turns into. I asked for six chicks, but they only had five for sale, so they were kind enough to give 'her' to me.

I feel like I can't call them him or her or I'll be disappointed later on when/if I'm wrong haha.

Well, they had at least one feather legged bird in their flock and none of these chicks will be barred, but that's about all you can tell. When they are older you may be able to tell what breeds were involved but it's possible they had heinz 57 type birds and you'll never know.

As for sexing, you'll probably have to wait another 6 weeks or so.
