A friend of my sister needs to get rid of all her poultry since she will be moving. She isn't actually sure what she has, but is giving it all away. I'm planning on taking the flock, but I can't figure out a few of the birds and would appreciate your help. Thanks!

I love the coloring on this one!

This looks like some kind of silkie mix?

I have no idea what the buff colored bird is. The front one is a Wyandotte, right? Is it BLR?

This guy is huge! But, I don't know my Roo's very well:

I would appreciate any input! Thanks!

First hen is probably game mix (mix for sure).Black one looks Crevecoeur but can be mix too.Buff hen is Golden Sex Link. The roo has pink legs but is too dark to be Buff Orpington-I 'll say he is Orpington and Rhode Island Red cross

First hen looks like she is a cross (maybe some kind of laced cross?). Second hen most likely a silkie mix or could be a EE, but personally I doubt it is a mix of both and black tends to be dominate so it could be anything (black silkie crossed with ?/or/ black ? crossed with any color silkie....and same with EE...that is what I think anyways). Third hen looks like a Golden Laced Wyandotte. Roo could be NHR or PR or cross.

I think the buff is a buff rock, and the roo is a New Hampshire red. And you know the gold laced wyandotte. 1st one is a cross, the second- I agree- silkie cross or crevecoeur. Not a bad start for a little flock.

# 1 pic. is a Game cross hen.
# 2 pic. is a Hatchery type Crevecoeur. ( I cant see any silkie in it )
# 3 pic. Buff color one could be a Sex-Link hen ( the other one you thought was a BLR is a hatchery type Gold Laced )
# 4 pic. Hatchery type New Hampshire
(did you mean Blue Laced Red or Black Laced Red when you said BLR on pic 3?) I hate abbreviations...
