help me identify breed please?

does anyone know what breed this is? and is it a chick or a roo?

It is an older chick looks more like a rooster then a pullet.
Could be black giant cross.

It doesn't have a comb at the minute. I'm quite new to this but how old would they be when they develop there comb? A friend said it looks like a young shamo chicken does anyone think this could be true? It is quite a big size already

unless its a really small comb? a friend had found it.. it looked like it had been attacked by something so I took it in

I am new to this but I was thinking the same thing as Dawns Funy Farm as soon as I saw it. I love a mystery.

Well I presumed it was a chicken.. Maybe it's not lol I suppose only time will tell as it gets a little older
