I picked up 2 bantams and 5 red pullets and I have no idea what kind of chicks they are. Any help would be great. They are one week old today. Thanks.

the grayish one has me stumped, but it is very cute

Good luck. I'm sure people with more experience with different breeds will be able to help you more.:)

Thanks you guys. I'm definitely enjoying them! So red sex links are more than likely my red pullets, so does that mean they're for sure hens?

Nothing in this life is "sure" except death and taxes. LOL. But seriously, a hen is a pullet that has started laying eggs. If she hasn't laid an egg yet, she's a pullet. Again, can't be "sure" this early in the game, can't say definitively, with 100% certainty.

I agree, death and taxes! Haha. Well hopefully the majority will be pullets. Any input on what breed my 2 bantams might be? Because I sure havent a clue.

Here are some new pics of my guys/gals. They will be 5 weeks old on Wednesday. I still am looking for some input as to what breed & gender they all are. Any help please!!

I sure hope they're girls. Keeping my fingers crossed! At what age can you usually tell their sex?
