We have three, darling, week and a half old chicks. Not sure about the breeds and genders...could you give us your ideas? Thanks!
Here is Chick #1. Her name is Good Queen Bess, not sure what we'll do if she is a rooster
One thing we noticed that sets her apart from our other little yellow one (at the bottom of the page) is that her wings are larger, reaching all the way to the back of her body, while the other one had smaller wings that only went half way down her body. This was more noticeable when she was younger. She also has that funny tuft of feathers on her tail. Any thoughts?
This chick is the smallest of our babies. We are pretty sure she is a Rhode Island Red because of the patterns on her wings. Here's a few of chick #2.
This picture below is probably useless, but we think she's (he's?) cute
Chick #3 is the largest chick. Her wings however are smaller in proportion to her body. She (he?) has a lot of spunk and is definitely the ring leader
For some reason my photos wouldn't upload (ugh!) so we only have one, of her wing.
Alright, thanks! Can't wait to hear all your expert opinions
If you think more photos from a different angles, etc. would be helpful, please say so! We love our chickies
Here's a little photo of them with their mama. *Adoptive* mama, she hatched the eggs but the eggs weren't laid by her
She's a year old, R.I.R. Her name is Queen Victoria and she's the boss around here
