Help Me Name My Coop/Farm

Very important. The fancier you become the more red flags. Be careful and just sale your eggs to people you know. The FDA has too many guidelines for those of us that want to cover the cost of feed. Raising chickens on a residual scale just want to keep our friends and neighbors in eggs as a hobby.
I don't turn a profit at all. I just hope to cover my feed bill a month. Just food for thought.
Yes, I just have my chickens cause I like them so much. We give away TONS of eggs, but still have way too many so we figured we would try to sale some to at least recoup a little money.

Your nickname is Purple lady. You can keep that theme going as eggs from the Purple Lady.
Or The purple Lady eggs.
Simple and to the point for your friends and neighbors ect. You'll aquire regular customers very quickly and they will be all you need.

Absolutely!! How many do you have?
We currently have 13 hens and 3 roosters. I’ve Had six hens and 1 rooster for a year and then just added the others this year. 1 of my original six hens, Cruella, just died a couple weeks ago. She got sick and I was doing everything to get her better and then I got up one morning and she died overnight. I cried my eyes out. 2 of my new pullets ended up being roosters. But that’s fine. Those two are very docile with each other and know our head rooster means business. No fighting at all.

So you get appox 13 eggs a day if everyone is laying. That's about 7 doz a week give or take.
Good for you. Once you get your niche going for your egg sales you'll earn enough to cover your feed, supplies and medications a month, coop maintenance ect
I think that's great!
