Kathy hatched 11 days ago and she hasn't stopped chirping. She chirps through the night keeping my family awake and its loud enough to wake the neighbors. I have five other stunning chicks who are just amazing, but are a few weeks older then Kathy, they can't stand her and run away when I put her in their pen. I'm worried my neighbors will call about them and I'll lose all of my babies. She doesn't ever really sleep and just cries loudly 24/7. Ive tried housing her with the others incase she was lonely, used stuffed animals, cuddling, dark places and all, but she won't stop she wont even take breaths. Please help I need her to stop so my family doesn't kill her and my neighbors won't make me get rid of the rest of my angels. (She even annoys my bunny to the point he wants to strangle himself, he's actually tried with his leash when he's with her..)

When a chick peeps constantly it's usually due to one of two things - they're too cold (is her heat lamp warm enough?) or they're lonely. You can try a mirror in her cage for daytime...might try covering her cage at night time (like many do for parrots/parrakeets to keep them quiet)...

Hope your little one calms down soon...
