HELP!! My dog bit my baby chick!

My naughty little dog got in to the temporary coop while I was changing some things around and he killed one chick and bit another. She is a rhode island red about a month old I think and she has a superficial wound on her back under her wing and on top of her wing it looks like there is a little break in her wing. Will she heal or do I have to put her out of her misery? I'm afraid she is going to get an infection. ticked at my dog. Please help. Thanks!

Chickens can heal from some pretty scary wounds. I'm not sure how tough chicks are. All you can do is watch closely. I'll attach a link to a thread about wound care. Check out post #16. Good luck
