Ok really new to this site but prior to getting my three little ducklings a time I had a question or wasn't sure about something when it came to them I typed it into Google and this is the site that always popped up and had the best answers via the forums so this is my first place I thought to come and ask the question because one of my ducklings is hurt they are roughly three weeks old and I have three of them and one of them is hurt and it's the leg it's her leg I don't know exactly what happened because I wasn't out there but I have them in a giant dog crate in my room right now because they have not been ready to go outside yet they have not got their big feathers and because they were so upset when I open up the windows today and let some air in they wouldn't stop chirping and pecking at the gate. so I took their whole crate and I put it outside on my deck and so that they can get fresh air and then I went out to check on them about a half hour later and I seen that one of my ducklings was laying on her side at the front of the dog crate with the metal gate is and she had her leg pinned underneath it and I don't even know how it got under there because the space is just not big enough and my dog had come running in from out there and I know that he always tries to mess with them when they're in the crate but usually I'm out there and I stopped him and I wasn't aware that someone had let him out and so I don't know how long he was out there or what he did to pull her leg through underneath like that but I know that it's it's hurting her and something's wrong with it and I'm so scared for her right now I live in pretty populated city and I've called 3 different vets and none will even look at her so if anybody could give me any suggestions on where she could be seen by vet at I live in Washington and or any suggestions on what to do about her leg there is swelling there are a couple of small Cuts she will put weight on it surprisingly and she's not you know lethargic by any means I have her separated from her two brothers them in a smaller crate and then her and just a milk crate with the towel and blankets in it and food and water

Poor thing...how is she today?
I'd say your are doing the best thing by isolating her so she can't get hurt anymore.
