Help! My five year old cinnamon queen has a fractu/broken leg and it just hangs. What can I do?

I can feel the break in the upper part of her leg. She isn’t putting any weight on it and apparently can’t use it. I’m super upset and don’t want her to suffer. Thanks for any help.

I just text a vet in our area but not sure they can help.
Were you able to find a vet?
If not, then you can try splinting it. I have never dealt with a broken leg but you may find this helpful.

If the vet isnt an option, I would guess a splint and make her rest. Do you have any chicken-safe pain killers to make her more comfortable? idk your climate but keep her warm and hydrated.
 
I found a vet that would look at her this morning. He hadn’t worked with any chickens but said he would try to splint it and if she picks at it or it doesn’t heal well, he did say that she should be fine with one leg. We will see.
