Help my hen is honking like a goose

The hens were in their run until afternoon yesterday. When I let them out one of the Brahmas was making an odd honking noise as she walked. Her normal voice is sort of a curdle, but she does make loud calls after she's laid.
This sounds like a kind of Khaaaa Haaaaa, not a wheeze like fluid in there. And not like a call or crow, just happens as she's walking around. She was lively, scratching and drinking with the others and didn't seem to be in distress, and it was late so I left her alone.
Is there a remedy or action I need to take? She's skittish so I don't want to be catching her if I don't need to.
 
What you're hearing is likely know as "stridor" which characterized by a partial obstruction of the air ways; there several causes in poultry such as tramua related swelling, fungal spores, but most commonly the problem is due to seed, or feed inhalation. As long as she is acting ok, it'd be fine to wait a few more hours or a day, as the problem usually resolves itself without intervention needed.
